MTN South Africa and the Premier Soccer League (PSL) recently launched the 2013/14 edition of the most lucrative cup competition in the continent. The MTN8 Wafa Wafa tournament sees the top eight 2012/2013 season finishers embark on a quest to claim the now famous R8 million winner-takes-all prize.
Now in the semi-final stage, the ultimate team to walk away with the R8 million Wafa Wafa prize, will be one of these clubs: Kaizer Chiefs, Platinum Stars, Orlando Pirates, Bidvest Wits. 

EXP, the lead agency of the tournament, conceptualised and executed a unique locker room experience for the launch. With the primary objective of ensuring that the football theme permeates throughout the tournament, EXP activation and branding teams set up the venue to resemble a football locker room along with football jerseys, water bottles and soccer boots.
With all key stakeholders in attendance including key broadcast media such as SABC Sport, ENCA and SuperSport Blitz, MTN SA new Chief Marketing Officer Brian Gouldie outlined the game plan for this year which includes R 8 million in prizes for fans.

The renowned consumer engagement consumer, MTN8 Last Fan Standing returns with one lucky fan set to win R 1 million in cash and the ultimate football experience of visiting Brazil in 2014.
The rollout of the campaign sees EXP handle all logistical elements including branding, match setup, hospitality management and PR.  Based on the recent semi-final draw fixture, this will sure be one exciting tournament.
