In
light of this 10 year anniversary EXP rolled out the “yellow carpet” for MTN’s various
stakeholders, by providing them with the some of the most unique experiences,
both in the build-up to, and during the awards weekend in Sun City.
Offering a complete 360˚ service for MTN, EXP was responsible for
the logistics and planning of the MTN SAMA Campaign including branding activation,
eventing, client and PR services from the nominees launch, WINNER club
activations all through to the MTN SAMA main event and after party.
During the MTN SAMA weekend, EXP was responsible for hosting key
MTN guests at the Royal Marang and Palace, including 10 VIP winners with their
partners by providing them with a unique experience which included a helicopter
flight to Sun City, a shopping spree, boma dinner, and chance to walk the Yellow
carpet where people gathered in numbers to witness the glitz, glam and pizazz of
celebrities and musicians alike.
In addition to the EXP PR ensured that for the duration of the MTN
SAMAs campaign, MTN received maximum media exposure before and during the
event, particularly on national radio stations, television and newspapers.
It
was truly one of the best MTN SAMAs yet.
